Class 25 Project

Congratulations to Class 25 on a project well done. Four FAX buses are currently in operation on their routes displaying the wraps accomplished through this project.

Brief summary of the Class 25 project.

There are no boundaries to the Leadership Fresno Class 25 project; an endeavor which is designed to not only to increase awareness of and access to arts and culture for all Fresnans, but specifically targets at-risk and underserved youth, creates collaboration among city services and is expected to bring at least a little lift to all who travel to and through the Fresno area.

"Empowering Youth Through Artistic Expression" engages at-risk and underserved youth in a citywide beautification project that challenges our youth to express their vision of what Fresno is and can be. Local teens will work with the Downtown Art Collective and "Fresno's Best," a program of the City of Fresno Parks and Recreation, After School and Community Services Departments, to create scenes identified as important to Fresno, for example, education, healthy living, and the Fresno image.

These expressions, as seen through the eyes of our youth, will be displayed as "bus wraps" creating a completely mobile artistic showcase for our city to not only admire, but will stand as a testament to the potential of our youth and our city.
